Select Rows X to Y

I know how to build a select query to select TOP n (30 rows in my case) rows. But I want a query to select the next n rows, or row numbers x to z

I can think of a couple of ways to do this. The easiest (for me) would be to use a Recordset loop. However that's Developer-level and more advanced.

At the Expert level, I would suggest adding an IsSelected field in your table. Now, use an update query to mark the top 60 rows as YES, and then another update query to mark the top 30 as NO. Now you're left with 31 to 60 marked YES.

The same technique would work for any X to Y set of records. Mark the top Y records YES, and then the top X to NO. You're left with the set in the middle. That's a good idea for a TechHelp video! :)
