Hello Richard

I am wondering if you could tell me why when I do totalling query it comes back with the following error
the SQL statement contains ambiguous out adjoins this is when you use option to when creating the query as taught in level 11 this has been happening since I try to use totalling queries if I don't do that it if Coutts correctly as far as bringing all the totals together but my first month as may but in the query at shows August July May as the order do you have any suggestions why is this happening

This only happens using the second method your preferred method but if I use that first method but if I use the first method when feeding a form it doesn't know where to get the information from

After having another look at this first method I noticed is still not correct the only way to get a correct is only putting two digits in for the month is it not possible to have a form displaying at least the first three characters of the month as the query does not accept three or four characters as far as the month goes and run correctly

Like I said last time, you need to create your aggregate query first, THEN use that in a separate query to do the sorting. You'll need to use digits for the month so it sorts in date order, not alphabetical order. Queries can be picky sometimes. Ambiguous outer joins means it's too complex. Simplify it and break it into multiple steps.
