Combo Box Issues

Hi,
I'm having trouble with a combo box in my form. It was working, but now it is not. I created a combo box from a query to show employee full names. but now when I try to add a new record, though it shows all the names, when I click on a name I haven't used before in the form, it won't add the name. I can add names already used before in the Form, but no new names.
Thanks for any help!

Is it bound to a Field on your Form?
Can you run the query separately?
Does each row have an ID?
When you choose a new employee and then save the value, i.e. its not dirty (with the pencil showing in the record selector) what ID is saved to the Table?

Thank you for your reply! I decided to copy a working subform based off the broken form and added the combo box and I received the following error, hopefully this will help you figure out where I've gone wrong. (all the names that have already been worked with showed up, and this time it actually kept the new name, but with the following error:
"You tried to assign the Null value to a variable that is not a Variant data type"

Are you able to answer my previous questions?

So, my Form's record source was my FullNameQ (not sure why, probably when I was trying to fix it), I set it back to the original table but my query was messed up, so I created a new one. Then I made a new combo box off the new query and all is working again.
Thank you!!!
