I have a couple of questions regarding naming and saving the data base.
I noticed that everytime I save a backup of the database, there gets to be a very long string of dates attached to the file name.  Is it safe to rename the backup to a shorter file name?

Also I am thinking that in the very first save (after creating the Data Base) I should make a copy of the original file and store it on a flash drive or CD.

My second question is can symbols be used in naming a table, i.e., %, -, or #?
