Hello All Got a problem in a query, 1 field in a query has county, state. I want to pull the county only from the field her is what I have so far, x: ((Len([Address Line Two])-4)) the second part looks like this City: (Trim(Left([Address Line Two],[x]))) it all runs properly only I do not want the "x" to show up in the finished report. problem is when I uncheck to "show" and run the query it then asks for a value for "X" is this the way it is supposed work or am I missing something.

If it's a report you're working with, then just don't bring X into the report as a field. It should still work. Now if you're talking about not seeing it in the QUERY then you may have to just make a 2nd query which displays only the fields you want.

Richard, Thank you for your response. I will remove it on the report. Is the coding of the query correct or can it be combined into one? Again thank you
