I'm reading about different situations of one or more users of an Access database and I want to know what to expect.
At work we have a Shared network drive where we put any files we want anyone in the department to be able to view.
An Excel file we use all the time will allow anyone to open  it at the same time, but only the 1st user can make changes.
When I finally get this Access database built I will be the only one doing any data entry.  The rest of the department will only be using it to collect dept stats, past and present.  What I want to know is can two(or more) people open the database and run querys/reports at the same time as needed?  Or do special steps need to be taken?
