Concatenate Field In Report

I try to concatenate two field in query it worked well but the problem it can't Can-shrink in my Report I already activated Can Shrink under property sheet.
Please anyone can solve this problem?

If the field can't shrink it probably sees the value "" instead of null

The problem the space between [txt]&" "&[txt] when i use Trim Function to remove the space like this Trim([txt]&" "&[txt]) the shrink it work well in the Report
