Mouse Scroll
Mark Pierce

Hello Everyone,
This should be an easy one but I can't figure it out. On many of my forms the scroll wheel on the mouse is not scrolling the page up and down. I believe it because of a focus issue between the sub forms and the main form. How can I make sure the main form scroll will work all the time?

thanks,

Mark

If you think its an issue with the focus. You can just use control.setfocus on a field on the main form with the on current event

If the subform control is first in your parent form's TAB ORDER then that would cause the problem too.

To follow up on this issue, I am using a Navigation Form created using the Navigation choice under the Create Forms.

This is a little difficult to explain.

I have 7 sub forms on this menu, the page scroll works until I click on the actual sub form of one of the tabs. On each of the sub forms I have the vertical scroll bar also turned on but only one scroll bar is showing up. I would think there would be one for the sub form and one to the far right for the Menu page.

Just to check, probably not it but, change the scroll bars to both, see if there is a horizontal scroll bar on your subform that wants you to scroll to the right to see your subforms vertical scroll bar.

Could maybe try adding a line of code to each of those buttons that sets the focus inside of that buttons subform too and see if that helps.

Try it on a blank new form with ONE subform.
