Exclusive Access At This Time

I got an error message " you do not have exclusive access at this time."
Got it when i tried to open a form connected to the customer table after I added a new field 'LeadSource'
How do i get exclusive control back?

My first guess would be that you were trying to edit the table AND open the form at the same time. First close down all open tables and forms then try opening the customer form again. If that doesn't work close Access and reopen it. Look at the Troubleshooter page if you still have issues after that.

Make sure no one else is using the database. If you're standalone, make sure no other instances of Access are running (kill them with Task Manager). Delete an LACCDB file if one happens to exist.
