If you have it sync'd to your machine you could just use the windows search api, otherwise you'll have to look into the Google API

Could you explain what you are trying to do with the documents and access form? Are you trying to just add a document location to the form or are you trying to be able to open the document from inside of access?

My access database is on a RDP and distributed to staff. When a patient comes in, we have to open the Google drive app and go thru many steps to get the actual patient folder. Each patient has a folder with all their papers in Google drive.. It would be nice to have a button in the access form which opens up that patient folder in Google drive and give access to all documents right away.... a virtual access to patient file with a click of a button... wondering if it can be done?

Sure. Just set up Google Backup & Sync so that the GDrive shows up as an actual folder on your PC. Once you know that path, you can then just Shell to Explorer in that path.

Thanks for the direction but i dont know what  "shell to explorer in that path" means. Do u have any video that can help me with it?
