Strange Behavior Button Form

1. I have a checkbox on a form that when checked besides writing true also opens another form. Perfect so far. I can't figure out how to get the second form to open with the related record loaded even though custID on form 1 = custID on form 2. I know I've done it with a button. So I added a button with with wizard BUT if I click on CustID on left form and CustID on the right form in the wizard window and click the <--> button, A different field, "DESCRIPTION" shows in the button config field and in the macro. I've tried it 1/2 dozen times. If I change it in the macro to form 1 custid = form 2 custid. it doesn't work at all. Have no idea what is wrong.

I really hate macros. With a passion. This could be done very easily with VBA: `DoCmd.OpenForm "Form2NameF",,,"CustID=" & CustID`

Thank you Richard! I couldn't get it workin as a VBA event because the Syntax gets me every time! Your way is MUCH cleaner. Replacing all of my button macros! Yippee
