What does "Return without GoSub" mean?

I designed all of my forms first. Then copy/pasted the building ID combo to each one.

Building form click any button (works) -> second form click any button (works) -> third form click any button (fails) -> get "Return without GoSub" error.

What is this error and how do I correct it?

From the third form, the button worked when I created it. After I save and close the database, however, when I reopen the database, that's when I encounter the error.

What if you take out that extra = sign there? I haven't been in macros forever but that looks off. Otherwise use the code editor instead and put in this VBA DoCmd.OpenForm "ExtWindowF",,,"BuildingID=" & SiteBuildingIDCombo

That's what I did. I deleted the first button, started over and used VBA instead of the wizard. That seemed to correct the issue.

Yeah... I've never been a fan of macros... although sometimes that double-equal sign is necessary. Macros are dumb.
