Genealogy Template Navigation

The free Genealogy template and the full Genealogy template show form fields that double-click to other records (parents, children).  Doing so, however, changes the navigation bar below to 1 of 1, and even datasheet view shows only the single record (the Seminar WalkThru video shows it at 1:40.) Can the double-click open the new form but retain navigation to the full dataset?  Thank you.

Yea the double click event is probably a docmd.openform with a where criteria, that would limit it, I think you can do that without having a where criteria in the openform and and instead using Recordset.FindFirst with it though

This would open my customerform and go to the record I selected from my list box, CustomerList, it keeps the record count. Replace your Field names as necessary. CustomerList would be your Textbox you're double clicking.

DoCmd.OpenForm "CustomerF"
Forms!CustomerF.Recordset.FindFirst "CustomerID=" & CustomerList

Superb! I changed the code from this:

Private Sub FatherCombo_DblClick(Cancel As Integer)
If IsNull(FatherCombo) Or FatherCombo = 0 Then Exit Sub
    DoCmd.OpenForm "PersonF", , , "PersonID=" & FatherCombo
End Sub

To this:

Private Sub FatherCombo_DblClick(Cancel As Integer)
If IsNull(FatherCombo) Or FatherCombo = 0 Then Exit Sub
    DoCmd.OpenForm "PersonF"
    Forms!PersonF.Recordset.FindFirst "PersonID=" & FatherCombo
End Sub

The change opens the form with full navigation. Thank you very much.
