Hi, I have 3 tables with relationships. Please see attached diagram. One Customer can have a number of aircraft. One aircraft can have a number of jobs. I have created a form to start a new job against an aircraft. The form is based on the table "JobInvoiceT".I am having trouble retrieving the "CustomerID" from the ACRegisterT, and then displaying the Customer "FirstName" and "LastName" from the "CustomerT" on the new form.
I have tried DLookup and I can get the "CustomerID" onto the form in an unbound TextBox but cant get it into the reduired field on the "JobInvoiceT"

Use a combobox

To be more specific, get the values from another table or query, in this case CustomerT. Bring in CustomerID, Firstname, Lastname Store that value in the field CustomerID

The form is based on the Table "JobInvoiceT". The way this form works, is that when starting a new job you select the aircraft registration from a combo box. This find the "ACRegoID" and associated data (as well as the "CustomerID") in the "ACRegisterT". Once selecting the "ACRegoID" I need the associated "CustomerID" to relate back to the "CustomerT" and pick out the names. These need to be displayed, but will not be editable. Ref the Table Diagram attached to this post.

David You're probably going to have to create a query to use instead of just the JobInvoiceT. Then the fields will be available from the CustomerT. The other alternative is to use DLookup and pull in the required info. Check out the video: DLookup Since you are just displaying the info not displaying it it would be similar to what Richard is doing in the video displaying the phone

Wow = fingers out typing the brain. Not hard to do but still.... I meant: Since you are displaying the info not storing it.
