Compile DB Variable not Defi

I have been utilizing Rick's idea using a StatusBox while writing some code.  Seems I can't compile though.  Am I missing something?  The error occurs with the 2nd "StatusBox".

Private Sub Status(S As String)

    StatusBox = S & vbNewLine & StatusBox
    DoEvents

End Sub

That error looks like it can't find StatusBox, is there one on the form? Or if that's a global module you might need to call the full field name Forms!MainMenuF!StatusBox or whatever yours is.

Hey Gents, the issue seems that of disappeared. As suddenly as it appeared. Thanks for your interest. If the issue reappears Ill update the post with error message. Thx again.

When something weird happens that you can't explain: Step 1, restart Access. Step 2, restart Windows. Step 3, go down the Troubleshooter.
