Multiple Evaluations
Lisa

I am building a performance evaluation dbase which will needs to pull different evauation questions based off the employee's job code.  Do I need to create three different eval forms or can I create one form and have it pull the appropriate questions from a table automatically?

Reply from Richard Rost:

Lisa, it sounds to me like you should set up a Question table that somehow knows the criteria for which each question is asked, and then make all of these questions records in a subform. I'd need to know more about your requirements to tell you more - but setting up multiple forms like this is probably NOT the best solution... unless these questions and criteria NEVER change. If this data is at all dynamic, then you should make a better solution. Otherwise any time you have to add/update a question, you've got to edit the form design (which you should try to avoid).
