Splitting data for reading charts
James

I have a table that has the potential of holding 200 student names and their behavior problems.  I want to chart these but in order to make it readable I need to split the data into groups of 25 students per chart.  Do you have a tutorial that teachs this technique?  Or can you point me in the direction I need to look.  I've searched the web  but either this is not out there or I'm using the wrong search criteria.  Thanks.

Reply from Richard Rost:

James, I don't believe I have a class that specifically shows how to do this, but if you ONLY have 200 records, that's not too bad. If you only have to do this once, just manually copy and paste the records into different sheets.

Now, if this is something that's continuously changing, and you have to run this report a LOT, then I would suggest loading the data into a Microsoft Access database, and creating a charting report that you can add some CRITERIA to. Then you could select blocks of students based on date ranges, alphabetically by name, etc.
