Hey guys, one of my forms is being stubborn. A few weeks ago I was wondering how to transfer names from one form to another. I cant remember what the video is called but I saw it on YouTube. Tech self help video. Richard was describing how to auto insert a customer name into a blank form field. Step by step I followed it and it did work p, I used it on our login form. Whoever logs in their name auto inserts into the form they fill out. 3 forms is all we have to auto inert the name. The default value Richard describes is =Forms!mainmenuf!customername. 2 of our forms it works really nice on but the third form its not working at all. I checked the form properties on all three and they are all the same and still after several attempts it still didnt work. One thing Im going to try is create another form and table and query and try it. Anybody have any ideas? I would post a screen shot but Im at work now Ill have to wait until I get home.
