Hi,

I have a report that is an order invoice that I'm looking to have the detail portion seperated out by categories, but if a particular category doesn't have items on the invoice than it's header wouldn't be shown? Is this possible. I currently have an items, orders and a categories table that are all related to each other. I just a little unclear how to make this work in a report.

Eric, I'd have to play with this to tell you for sure... but I believe you can check the value of one of the fields in the group from the group header, and if it's NULL, set the header section so that it's not visible. I know I've done it before, but I'm not exactly sure what I did. If you REALLY need to know this, post a followup and I'll try to figure it out again when I get a few spare minutes... or as soon as they add that 25th hour to the day. :)
