Queries powered by multiple listboxes?
Gary Morrison

Dear Richard,
In my database I have created a query that shows monthly sales.  There is a field called SalesDate.  In the criteria field I use a “between” statement, Between #6/1/2006# And #6/30/2006#, to limit sales for a particular month.  Each month I build a new query and change the dates for that query and save it as a new query.  So I have a query for each month I’ve been in business (50 queries).
What I would like to do is have one query that would work some way with a form, maybe a list or a combo box, that would list sales for a given month, for example January 2009, February 2009, March 2009,…etc.
Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Gary Morrison

Reply from Richard Rost:

Fifty queries!? Ouch. This is exactly what I show you how to do in this tutorial about form field parameters. Except, instead of customers, you would just make two fields: one for StartDate and one for EndDate.
