Outlook from Access

Hello Rick

Question
Is it possible to make an Outlook email appear to come from my [email protected] address when sending email from Access?
CDO has From,  Sender and ReplyTo properties but I couldnt see any of these for Outlook. I am visually impaired, so it is possible I missed something.
Like you I do not use Outlook for my personal email, I use Gmail. Therefore I do not wish to set up my gmail address in Outlook. I just want to use Outlook for sending emails from my Access databases.

I need to do this so that if the recipient clicks Reply I need it to come to [email protected]

Any help is most appreciated.

Background
For years I have been sending email from my Access database via Gmail using CDO.
Recently I set up a new email address for sending my caravan club emails. The reason is too complicated to explain.
I set up my usual email address as the address to use as a security address.
Whenever my database attempts to send an email I get an error message saying the transport has failed.
My security email address receives a warning email saying that an unsafe app is trying to access the caravan email address.
I have been all through the steps to switch on the Allow unsafe apps but I still fail to send emails from my database.
I have set this more than once.
If I use my personal gmail address CDO works fine so I know my code works perfectly as it has done for years.
For this reason I am testing using Outlook with a dedicated email address of [email protected].
The problem I have is that emails sent appear as sent from ChrisBezant2021 and if recipients hit reply then it will go to this unmonitored email address.

Why not just put your gmail into outlook? You don't need to use it for anything and can continue to use your gmail how you have been. It will just work with Acess as well.

Only thing I can think of is if it's a security worry being logged into outlook, than you could just add an auto-forward to the ChrisBezant email to send emails it receives to your current email.

I use CDO to send direct to Gmail from Access. Works like a champ. However, mail servers are very skeptical of letting you specify a FROM address different from the one you're actually sending from, so you might be better off forwarding the mail on the server from one account to another. For example, I do have @599cd.com email addresses I use, but on the server level I have responses forwarded to my Gmail account.
