Pseudo Handwriting

Hi Rick,
Quite some time ago I came across an article that described how to create pseudo handwriting with Access. At the tome I was busy and of course I cannot find the article. I have searched the web and still cannot find a reference to it. Therefore; I am turning to the expert - You. Can you do a tech help video and show us the vba needed to produce letters that simulate handwriting. I guess we can do the short video of a moving hand.

Thanks
John Davy

If you need a better explanation, let me know.

What are you trying to do? Are you trying to have just a handwriting font or have some kind of handwriting pad go into access? Or are you trying to make a logo or something look like animation of handwriting :O?

Hi Adam,
The article showed a short video of a moving hand with a pen. The hand was moving to simulate a person writing. The Access app showed the persons text being created as though it was written with a pen. The font chosen was one that looked like a written or printed text.
I think this would be very useful and a creative way of spicing up a training video especially if I had a Access App to create the text. I hope we could have a text box in which we could paste a block of text and then run the program to create the simulated writing. I intend to capture it as a short video and incorporate this into my main video.

Thanks

John Davy

Ok so you're wanting to insert text into a box and say push a button and have access visually write the text out like handwriting. Sort of like a .GIF?

Animation would be the better word I suppose, and that sounds tricky ;).

Are you sure it was Access? One area that Access doesn't shine is any kind of animation. I mean, I could probably figure something out to make a moving hand draw out some script... but I don't think Access is the best tool for that job. That's more of a video production. Although I did make visible rolling dice fly across the screen for a Dungeons & Dragons character generator I wrote years ago. That was fun.
