But if I create a Query as a record source for the Director FORM, I start getting error messages when I click on its button to open it. (sorry mistyped)

It appears that you didn't complete the form open or you have the = in the wrong place.
either it should be =[CompanyID] or
[CompanyID]= (missing what it is = to here)

Hi Scott!
I don't use any Macros (just started the expert class) and have no idea how to use them.
Do I need to include =(CompanyID) as sort/criteria in the Director Query? (3rd attachment)

Hi Scott!
You put me in the right path! On DirectorQ I removed the CompanyT and CompanyID as there was no need for them, they already were connected by relationship. Now the form works fine. Many thanks!!!!!!

Good news.

BTW if you create a button using the wizard it creates the macro for you.  So even though you didn't specifically create a macro you have them in your project.

You'll learn more and more as you go.  Just keep pushing forward and you'll be building awesome data bases in no time.
