I am new to Access 2003 and to VBA Code. I have a main form called FrmMachineLookup and bound to a table called TblMachine and on that form I have a list box called List44 and it is used to display the record selected on that form. All is well but I have a command button called CmdAddMachineRecord that opens form in add mode called FrmMachine. This form adds the record fine and when I close the form and return to the main form FrmMachineLookup I can see the new record in the list box but when I click on the new record it doesn't call the record up on the form FrmMachineLookup. If I close the form and reopen it then I can click on the new record and it brings up the record data on the form. Any help would be appreciated, Thank you in advance.

It's impossible to tell what's going on here without seeing your database, but it sounds like you need to requery your form results with a

Me.Requery

command. If you add a new record, then your underlying form needs to requery to see that new record.
