I want to use a form to update a table in Access 2007 that when you click a button it takes the selected information and edits the table. I have a table named tempMeals with field names ID, last name, first name, current meals. I need information on how to use the form to change the current meal field.

CJ, the way a form works is that you BIND it to a table. Then, you can browse the records in that table using the form and any data you change is automatically updated. You need to set the RecordSource property for the form to whatever table you want to bind it to. See my free Access 101 tutorial for how forms should be built.
