I have a City field that includes the State, I need to create a separate field for the state, and than take the State from the City Field.  Can you help?

This is not going to be easy. Assuming the state is ALWAYS the last 2 digits of the city field, then you can do it with some tricky queries and string manipulations.

Once you've broken up the values, you could then create a new State field and use an Update query to copy the value over and erase it from the city field.
