Remove Filter Stay on Record

Im trying to program a button with VBA to remove a filter and stay on the current record on my access form.
Any advice and guidance for forum please.

Store the current id in a variable

Me.Filter = ""
Me.FilterOn = False

Then GoTo Record ID

I already have a button on my form to remove filter which works fine.
Im trying to program another button that will remove the filter but stay on the current record, which I require the help of forum member with

Hi Chris. I actually have a video coming up on this. Essentially you need to remember the ID that you're on, turn the filter OFF, and then FIND that record. Like this:

    Dim ID As Long
    ID = CustomerID
    Me.FilterOn = False
    DoCmd.GoToControl "CustomerID"
    DoCmd.FindRecord ID


Hope this helps. Look for the video probably next week... but that should be enough to get you going.
