I have an Excel workbook with 6 tabs.  There are over 65,000 records.  My problem is that each record covers 10 columns and 5 rows.  Cell A2 contains the name, address, city, state and zip.  Other cells contain both the description and the item (i.e. qty: 10).  I'm not worried about that; I can clean up the data once it's imported.  How do I pull all this data into an Access database since each record covers several rows?

I have some programming experience and user experience with FoxPro, but I'm new to Access.  We just got it two days ago.

This is not going to be easy. You're probably going to have to save all of this data in a text file and then write a custom import routine.

Let me see a sample of your data (3 or 4 records - dummy data) so I can see what you're dealing with.
