VB YesNoCancel

Richard I always see you use VB YesNoCancel.  Never seen the cancel part used.  in the Access Bible they use it but it's not real clear to me.  Can you simplify this in the classic Learning Zone way? how can the cancel be used to run another function? my understanding is: if yes do this, if no exit, if cancel do this instead.

Juan,

This is a simplified version of a message box I recently used in an unbound form to check if the record has been saved.
vbYesNoCancel in the Form_Unload Event.

Ok I get it so if you cancel on this example you totally undo what was not saved.  interesting.  I will play with this and see

99% of the time, Yes and No are just fine. However, and I mention this in a few videos, I prefer using Yes, No, Cancel because sometimes users don't take the time to full READ the prompt, and they're not sure what to do. Hitting Cancel gives them that "oh crap!" option when they don't know what's going on. That's the reason I use vbYesNoCancel instead of just vbYesNo half the time.
