Integrate Access Calendar Seminar into Existing Da
Angela

I have completed the Access Calendar seminar, and I've built the Calendar form step by step and it works fabulously.

What I'm hoping to do now is integrate it into an existing database.

In my database there is a form to show the due dates for each step in a schedule.

The existing due date form uses one table, with multiple date/time fields, each field indicating the milestone for a project.

I need to be able to display each milestone (the date/time field) on the calendar I just built using the seminar. There would be no need to show times, as only one milestone happens per day. I would need each item to appear on the appropriate day of the calendar.

Please tell me this is possible.

Thanks,
Angela

Reply from Richard Rost:

To use your existing table that has multiple date fields would be a little tricky. You'd be better off using an append query and copying each of those multiple dates to your Calendar table so each one shows up as a separate record. Perhaps trigger it with an "Add Dates to Calendar" button on that form. Otherwise, you'd have to change the structure of your Calendar forms and reports to read multiple date fields.
