Stock Code and Pricelist File

Hi,

I am sure I've see a youtube video but don't know what the search term would be.

I have a stock table and a pricelist table. I want to input the item price on the stock table file as I add new lines however I want to add/amend the pricelist table when I have a supplier annual price increase.

How do I do this? Can both files be updated via 2 files or just by updating the pricefile only.

You just need to use a AfterUpdate when you change the price, to go find the price in the other table and update it. For instance `Me.Refresh If PriceField <> "" Then Dim X X = DLookup("Price", "ProductList", "ProductID=" & ProductField) If X = PriceField Then Exit Sub Else CurrentDb.Execute "UPDATE ProductList SET Price=" & PriceField & " WHERE ProductID=" & ProductField End If End If`

Julian go to the Access Index CTRL-F on that page. You have the courses. Just need to revisit them. Search for Product, Add Item, Update Price, etc. 02. Update Vendor Pricing

Yeah, I cover things like this in a lot of places. Just all depends on how you want to handle it.
