Alexis are you trying to open the file that you are indicating with the box?  The .laccdb?

That is the locking file that Access uses when the db is open.  See the video 6 in the new Beginner 2 that Richard just added for you.  That tells more about that file.

If your database is not already open that may mean it didn't shut down properly in a previous session.  Computer crash maybe? Or did you get stuck and you had to end Access?

You need to make sure you only open the .accdb file.  The locking file gets automatically opened each time you use your database. It then gets deleted - most of the time - when you close your database.

Hi Scott, i want to open the Accdb file, not the laccdb file,  the Accdb can be opened, but when i click the button i made for my database, it is closed automatically, it just happened today, usually the accdb file of my database can be runned, i don't know what happened. and i just found that the red circle i made which i didn't see before

If you hold down the Shift key while you double click the .accdb file it should bypass the startup file that you made.
I don't know what you did so I can't tell you what to fix.
You normally wouldn't see the .laccdb file if you were not looking for it.  It is a normal file that Access creates automatically.  Explained better in the video I told you above.
