Subdatasheets

Hi Richard

I am not quite sure what membership package I have.  Can you upgrade me to the gold package, I am not sure what video method is best to watch, but I do watch a lot of youtubes from you over your site courses info.  Admittedly you dont get the extended, but is it beneficial to go through your site to watch the vids or stick to youtube.  I save the youtubes in a 599 folder I created.

I also saw a vid where you had department, maths classes and subject/students.  It was made up of continuous records, as red back ground, green and possibly blue,   I dont know the name but if was to do with one to many relationships.  Would you know the file name or video title.  Thanks

Ive designed one x3 files, as range, fabric and colour.  Range is 1tomany with fabric, fabric 1tomany with colour, but I get and error message on the fabric when you click the plus on fabric file.  Please see pic

Hi Julian. You're not currently a TechHelp member (Silver, Gold, Platinum). You can sign up here. You're a Learning Connection member, which is where you get a new course every week.

What you've got there is a table with a subdatasheet on it - one way of showing related records. I strongly recommend AGAINST using those (in fact, they're on my Evil list). Use forms with subforms instead. I think the video you were referencing was this one: Nested Continuous Subforms
