Hi,

Something that was suggested to me. I am looking at the timecard log in for employees. However, as a brain storm session, it was suggested that I have a canteen menu for the week and given the number of staff in on certain days of the week will help towards the buying of foods for certain days. EG Wednesday 25 employees in work lets do Pie and Mash Day as a special. Then that gives a percentage planning for staff meals. However, on the footer of the sign in page, could I have a ticker tape as "Pie and Mash Day 2.50" scroll along the footer? Does Access have this facility? I could get the kitchen staff to weekly meals and these load for a database file daily.

You can do a flashing with a timer event, refer to Flashing Text. You could also do the moving but that would be far more difficult.

Access doesn't have anything like that but you could "roll your own" with a little bit of thought. Check out Progress Bar and Flashing Text Then figure out a way to mash them together.
