Form Sizes

For my database Main Menu I have it setup to popup, which I like. I am having issues with the form size. How do I get my Main Menu form to open to the same size? When I open the form it shrinks in size. I then use the mouse to expand it. I hit save but every time I open the form it goes back to the shrink size. Is there a way to keep it from shrinking? Screenshot 1 shows the size I want and Screenshot 2 shows the size it shrinks to.

You can expand it's size in design view (expand form blank space) and save it there then try to open it instead of resizing it in form view, see if that fixes it.

In your form properties turn off Auto Resize.

Once in a while even that doesn't work.  I have resorted in the past to placing a blank label in the form.  Turn off all borders and make it transparent.  Turn off Enabled and Lock it. Also make sure it isn't in the Tab Stop. Make your form the size you want it an put the label you just made in the lower right hand corner of the form.

Access will still "do it's thing" but will not resize smaller than the lowest most right control.
Cheesy I know but sometimes you do what you gotta do.

Check out the Auto Resize TechHelp Extended cut video.  I think a move/size command in your OnLoad event will do the trick.
