Have you checked if you have an laccdb file in the folder with your database that didn't get deleted when you closed? It's usually a 1kb file.

ISSUE
A bug in Current Channel Version 2201 (Build 14827.20158) has been reported that prevents Access from closing and leaves the lockfile active, which may lead to the following errors even before shutting down Access. The issue is triggered by running VBA code that references Access objects.
Symptoms include:

Receiving 'Error 3014: Can't open any more tables'
Receiving error 'Already in use by Admin'
STATUS: WORKAROUND
We have identified the issue and the VBA team has created a fix. This fix will be deployed as soon as possible.
To work around this issue, put your database in a trusted location.
