My splash screen started having a white square background behind it and I am not sure how to fix it or what caused it. Here's screenshot. In the screenshot its the white square.

Did it just start doing this recently? Has it ever worked before? It almost looks like a photo that hasn't been cropped.

Is the image saved in the db or is it referenced from a folder on the machine?

Perhaps check the Size Mode? Under Format in the Property Sheet.

Seriously though... how are you displaying that? Is it an actual Splash Screen or is it an image embedded in a form?
