Can I insert refresh to my syntax so the data will refresh automatically or does it need to be done separately?

Private Sub BtnSumRpt_Click()
  BtnSumRpt = DSum("[QuantityRpt]", "[LocationT]", "[ID] = " & [ID])
End Sub

No.  I got it to work. No more errors.   Right now I need to click the field of the text box to update the value which is correct.   Just want to know how I can get the field to refresh the data automatically.
