Search Form

Hello there,
I watched the "Search Form 2.0" video and followed it.  I copied the text box First Name and Last Name, then pasted them on the top of my form as my search box.  I also created a query as Richard did.  However, when I'm on the form, I couldn't type anything on the text box.  It seems disabled.  I dont know what I did wrong.  I was able to type something on the text box if I'm on design view.
Please help.  Thank you

Check your form properties and your textbox properties. Allow edits, enabled, locked.

Asking for help and questions is All About Context.
Without knowing what you have it's almost impossible to guide you how to fix it.

More detail please - including screenshots.

Thank you Scott.  I checked the form properties and I was able to find answer to my question.
However, I encountered another issue.  I was able to create the Search Box on top of a Continuous Form located on my Main Menu.  The issue is when I try to open the form where the continuous form located, the "Enter parameter value" screen will open.  It will let me in the form when I click okay.  It does the same thing when I type a name in the search box to find someone.  I also have to type the name in the parameter value box and click okay before showing the names I'm searching.  I have to click Requery to reset my search.
How can I bypass the "Enter Parameter Value" box?  Please help.  Thank you.

The Enter Parameter Value box appears when either 1. You have asked for a users input but putting a criteria on a query like [Enter Start Date] or 2. You have misspelled either your code or your field name and it can't find what value you're telling it to get. I would go through and check all your spelling matches your fields.

I've been struggling with my search boxes.  I couldn't get it work.  This time, I removed the query for search and used SQL instead.  However, nothing is happening when I tried to search anything.  The only thing works is "Clear Search".  I hope you can help me figure out my issue.  I'm attaching the screenshots.  The name of my form is MasterEntitlementContinuousF and the source is from MasterEntitlementQ.
Thank you

In your RequeryForm Sub Routine you have not set the RecordSourse of the form.

Me.RecordSource=SQL
