I have a list box that contains a list of all our tools used on aircraft. What Im trying to figure out is, is there a way I can either place a conditional format on my table or the list box to reflect a condemned tool. I need to do this because if a defective or out of spec tool makes it way back to me I would like to see the entry in red in my list box.

You can't change the color of a single item in a listbox. You could make it a subform and then use conditional formatting.
