Embedded SQL

I have hundreds of queries-- most of them are counts. I want to eliminate them from the Navigation Pane and embed all of them in my visual basic code. DoCmd.OpenQuery doesn't really help any because they still appear in the Navigation Pane. Do you have a course or a video that explains how to do that?

Indeed I do. I recommend learning SQL. Now, you can take the SQL generated by the Access query builder and just put that in a DoCmd.RunSQL command, however if you really want to take your database to the next level, learn SQL. My SQL Seminar covers everything you need. Part 1 is the basics. Part 2 covers action queries.

I also cover the RunSQL command in a few of my regular classes, like Access Developer 2.

I already know SQL pretty well. And I know some VBA, but I've run into problems trying to get multiple SQL queries embedded in VBA.

Do you have an example Don? More than likely it's a syntax issue. I've never had a problem coding a SQL statement in VBA.

Same

You are right. It was a problem with the syntax in one of the SQL statements. The messages in VBA are so cryptic sometimes that it's hard to find the answer. But at least I've got three queries to run consecutively in VBA. Thank you!!
