Open Report to Specific Record
John Muir

I have a subform which contains medical rated ages and are tied to one claimant.

I have been using this code and it's worked on everything except for the report based on the subform.

This is the vba that hasn't worked: DoCmd.OpenReport "RATED AGE REPORT3 BY ID#" , acViewPreview, , "[ID]=" & [ID]

The tRatedAges table primary key is ID. And some of the fields are "Date" and "Age", which i know are incorrect naming conventions. The foreign key is NewCasesID.

So I can't open the "RATED AGE REPORT3 BY ID#" report from the NewCases Form.

Can anyone help? Glad to send screen shots of anything you may need to se.

Thanks,

John

If that is really your report name try making a copy without the spaces and the # symbol.
My bet is that is goofing you up.
Bare minimum drop the # and enclose it in brackets like this:  [RATED AGE REPORT3 BY ID]

In general you don't want to use and spaces or special characters in fieldnames, table names, reports, or queries.
Stick to letters and numbers only.
