I found a way of almost accomplishing what you want. If you minimize the application before opening the popup form the form will remain open when Access is minimized.

DoCmd.RunCommand acCmdAppMinimize
DoCmd.OpenForm "CustomerF"

Note: this will work when you click on a button to open up the form NOT when you use the minimize button for the application.

You could have a button on a menu form that minimizes Access then checks to see if your popup is already open and just show those forms after Access minimizes. Obviously, for this to work, popup must be set to yes.

This would be a training issue - must use the button on the menu form an not the Access Minimize Button.
If anyone else want to jump in with some ideas please feel free.

I have this issue too - i like the idea of having pop ups on and the background access window gone (Its on my list to learn). I've researched several different ways but nothing seems to quite work.

In the end, i settled with with Built in windows and tabular view. Any buttons in the database close the Previous window so theres only ever one window. Its not perfect but until theres a way of just "Switching Off" the access window, this is the best i've got
