I have a table called case and I have another table called assignment.
I have related these two tables. In my case table I have case ID and its the primary key.
When I open the case table in datasheet view and I click on case ID 1 expand (the plus)
It will show me the related assignment table and it shows the hours.
Now what I want to do in query I want a function or something that calculates the total hours in each case from the related table.
Can anyone please tell me how to do this please???

You should use an aggregate query for this.
