After Button Click

Hello,
Could you please help? I am not sure how to fix this. I have tried a few different things.
How to I set the Tab Order for this?
Create Task Button, then move to Importance and so on.
After I create Task, the Cursor is stuck on that button. I have to click the mouse to the next field, then it's okay.
I will show a picture.
Thank you.

Guessing you've tried that tab order button? If not, do it there.

Are the fields you want to tab to set to Tab Stop: Yes?

If things still aren't working may need to programmatically fieldname.setfocus to the next tab stop.

I am still trying to figure out Hours,Minutes total on form. I have a query that works fine, and I use that as a way to see that data. I would rather see it in the text box, but it is still kicking my butt. I even tried using the query DisplayTime as a record source for the form, but that totally messed up my form. I couldn't figure out how to fix it, so I rebuilt it. It's like I have a brain block or something. Sorry for not quite getting it.

Hi Adam,
Yes, I have done that. Even if I start at the Importance field as the first tab stop, and then go back and click the Create Task Button, it will get stuck there again. Very Frustrating.

I see On Got Focus and On Lost Focus, but not sure what to do if that is even an option.

I didn't really want to use the date/time =now() option for DateCreated, because there may be a long wait between tasks, and I wanted to have the correct time and date.

So when you click the button you want to be able to tab to the next field, importance? What about just adding code to that button to change the focus automatically after the click

Importance.SetFocus
