I have built a database that has 2 general functions one stores Client Files, the Other Records external (nonClient) calls. I used a Macro to have a "Edit record button" on each record. When in my client Files search the database opens to the individual record.

With the Edit Caller button, the right form opens up but it shows a new record. When I go into the "Properties" it shows it should filter to CallerID= whatever record I selected Ex: 14. However it still displays a new form. Am I missing a setting somewhere?

I have since deleted the macro and followed the video to click/double click VBA coding for Open Form to Specific Record, and I am recieving the same result. I expect I have something wrong in my property settings. As it seems to be responding but not responding to my entered code.
