Combo Boxes

Hi

You arrive at a McDonalds - You ask for a BIG MAC Meal except you need to modify it.

You want a Big Mac, no cheese, no onion, Strawberry Milkshake, & Large Fries.

Do I need to formulate each variant

Big Mac, Cheese, Onion, Gerkin, Strawberry Milkshake, Large Fries etc end up with say 20 different combinations

or Multiple combos

01 Big Mac, 01 for cheese, 00 for NO onion, 01 for Gerkin, etc
and pull the choices from Combo Drop Downs? Numbers being the option selected.

However, If you want a standard no modified Big Mac, how do I display the selection as a standard - 01 Big Mac, 01 Cheese, 01 Onion, 01 Gerkin, 02 Cola, 01 Large Fries

Is there an example for Multiple Choice?

Thanks

Julian

The Easy Access POS that was built in Access Developer 14 does something similar to what you are asking.

I  was thinking that Chef's Kitchen Helper and the continuation in Developer 19 was where this would be going.

Hi Scott,

I was looking at your Chefs helper at the time which is where this question came from. I will look into D19 later today.  Thanks

I did watch the D14 POS thou.

In this case, I'd have a ProductT and then an OptionT for all of the options. That could have things like "no pickles." When the ticket prints, it would have the base product, and the options would be displayed under it.
