Access 2007 on right click

Hello Rick,
Just out of curiosity...
I have Office 365 for business installed on my laptop. However, when i write click my Desktop to create a new document, i get the option "Microsoft Office Access 2007 Database". All the other documents like Word, Text documents etc do not specify a year.
Since Microsoft stopped support for Access 2007, do you know why it is still an option here? Also, why 2007 and not say 2016, 2019 or 2021 or just "Microsoft Office Access Database" without the year?
Please enlighten me.

That'll be a windows issue rather than access. I'm guessing you have had office 2007 in the past? I'd first check add/remove programs to see if you still have it installed, and remove it if you do.

If the 2007 is still in the list and not in add/remove programs, I'd suggest searching google for 'Microsoft office removal tool'. Might be a key left behind from a previous installation

If 2007 is not in the list, and Neither is the new one, I'd suggest running a full, online office repair by going to add/remove programs, selecting office 365 and choosing change - it'll ask if you want to remove or repair - go for repair
