Currency on Forms

I am currently trying to change the currency on a form. I created a table with a currency field. The default currency was USD (My region was set to USA). I live in Finland so I want the currency to be Euro.

In the table design view, I changed the currency format to Euro [# ##0,00;(# ##0,00)]. It now shows as Euro in the table but as USD on the form. I changed the region to Finland and rebooted the computer but the currency on the form is still USD (and EUR in the table).

I have seen that there are some advanced videos (I'm only on Access Beginner 3 lessons) dealing with currencies. I am only playing around in Access to make sure I understand the concepts so I don't want to go through those videos. I am sure I will learn it as I go through the lessons. I am just wondering if there is some easy setting I have overlooked. My understanding was you can have USD and EUR currency wihtout changing the region.

Form fields also have a Format property which should be set when the format is set in the table. Try setting your format there.

Great, thanks, that did the trick. Did I need to change it becacuse I changed the table format after I created the form? If the table was orgininally formatted as EUR before I created the form, would I still need to format the form as well or would that flow through from the table?

No. For future reference, if you change the format in the table after you create your form a little button will appear. Click on it to update your form.
