Access and PowerApps

Hi, guys!

I am building a DB to manage a training and competence matrix, nothing fancy, but I was asked if I could make it connect with power apps to allow our employees to check and compare their status.

It seems it is possible thanks to a connector recently designed to work between Access, and Power Apps (Teams too), it was designed by Microsoft. Teams can use forms from Access to read/write information to back-end DB.

It looks promising and I was wondering if anybody here already build integration between Access and Power Apps?

Can you share your comments and feedback on this matter?

Appreciate the help!

I've only done some basic rudimentary experimenting with the connector. I've watched a few videos on it. It does look promising, but I'm not expert enough with it YET to be of any assistance. It's on my "to do" list for the near future though to study up on it.

Thanks, Richard. I am searching on other forums and it does seem it is picking up. The TEAMS integration seems very nice too, from the videos I have seen.

Hope you release some tutorials on it. Although you will have to deal with Microsoft's licensing subscriptions so the students can use it.

I am looking forward to seeing more videos develop as well. A seminar on this topic would be awesome! I see both PowerApps and Access blending very well, as long as the tables are stored somewhere secure and are relational.
